About Luna Vasahi Temple:
Located a little high above the Vimala Shah Temple, the Luna Vashi Temple is of great significance to the Jains. It is located just a few kilometers away from the Dilwara Temple Mount Abu. Tejpala and Vastupala jointly created the magnificent temple of Luna Vashi atop Mount Abu. They were the ministers of king Vastupala. The brothers also constructed, apart from the magnificent Luna Vashi Temple, some other shrines and temples. Of all these only the Neminath Shrine remains today. According to the legend the brothers were carrying a huge amount of gold with them selves while on a pilgrim trip. They decided to bury their wealth under a tree but there too, they discovered a huge quantity of gold. With their wealth they decided to erect temples and dedicate them to the Jain Tirthankaras. The Luna Vashi Temple India is a principal attraction for the tourists.
