One should plan to come here on weekdays since it is less crowded then and there are more chances of shops having a bigger and superior stock. After all this when you get hungry head to Shyam Chaat Stall. This place has risen like a phoenix when a bomb in October 2005 destroyed the entire store. This only shows the fighting spirit of the Delhi residents. The chaat here is oily, greasy, spicy, but you will love it. Try the orange slush found at many shops, if you are thirsty, it will instantly refresh you without adding on much calories. The market is extremely crowded during festival season so plan your trip accordingly.
