By Air:

Palitana does not have an airport. The nearest airport is at Bhavnagar at a distance of approximately 55 kms from the town. Ahmedabad airport is more convenient as it is linked through many regular flights to all the important cities in India like Delhi and Mumbai. Reaching Palitana via these flights is easy and convenient.

By Rail:

Travel to Palitana by rail is also comfortable. The town has a small railway station, which is connected to Bhavnagar. Most of the trains halt at Sihor, which is linked to Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar. Ahmedabad is 275 kms away.

By Road:

There are buses every hour from Palitana for Bhavnagar. Regular bus service is also available for Talaja, Ahmedabad, Una, and Diu. The bus stand is at 800 meters from Palitana railway station. Private buses, state transport corporation buses and taxis connect Palitana to Bhavnagar and some other important destinations in Gujarat.
